This Raksha Bandhan, Team Abhilasha was blessed with the generous opportunity to visit Mother Teresa Ashram, Bhopal.
Our team organized a distribution drive for the differently-abled children at Mother Teresa Ashram, making this festival special by visiting such energetically beautiful souls. We gifted them clothes, stationery items, and sweets, receiving love and memories to cherish for life, an experience we couldn’t be more grateful for.
A heartwarming celebration with the children followed the drive, wherein all of us tied Rakhis to each other. Talking, giggling, and living for the joy on their faces as we celebrated together: moments worth remembering.
One of Abhilasha’s beloved volunteers shared a moving experience with us:
“As someone who grew up visiting the Ashram, for the treatment of my drop foot, getting a chance to contribute and be a part of this donation drive means a lot to me.
While reminiscing, I realized how blessed I am being a part of Mother Teresa Ashram, and now Abhilasha NGO, and giving back. I’m utterly thankful for this chance to connect with and do something for the children.”
